The hugely popular Jonas Brothers boy band took a break from playing large venues for a more intimate concert this weekend at the elite Ross School in East Hampton NY.    In fact, it took the Jonas Brothers performance to bring warring exes Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook together to work out a to allow their kids to see the boy band.   Christie wanted to take the kids to a Jonas Brothers fundraiser on Saturday at the posh private Ross School, but it was actually Peter's weekend to have the children, the New York Daily News reports. Christie first arrived at the school with 13-year-old son Jack in tow before the show began and was even able to take him backstage to meet the young members of the boy band, the News said.  By noon, when the actual concert started, Christie left just as Peter was arriving with their daughter Sailor Lee, 10. The kids were then able to enjoy the rest of the concert with their father.

Christie Brinkley's ex-husband Peter Cook has spoken. In an interview with Fox News,  Cook says his biggest regret is that he did not make a "better decision" three years ago when he had an affair with the then 18-year-old Diana Bianchi. Cook said that if he could go back and do it over again he would have said, "No, I'm a married man." Brinkley and Cook's divorce trial ended Thursday, with Brinkley winning sole custody of the couple's two children, Jack and Sailor. The days leading to the court decision involved many private matters being made public. Cook expressed the fact that he was resentful when asked how he felt about everything being "dragged through the public mud."  "Christie has been waving a victory sign as though she just a won a war and I just don't see how there's a victory for anyone at the end of a fourth marriage and what these children were exposed to unnecessarily, I don't see the victory in it."  The architect says that he does not regret the ten years that he was married to the supermodel. As for his current relationship with Brinkley, Cook reveals that it is "very strained" but he believes that eventually it will heal.

According to reports, lawyers for both Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook were thrashing out a divorce settlement until 6:15 this morning, and everyone's got what they wanted. Christie is getting sole custody of her kids. Peter keeps his porn addiction.

The agreement was reached early this morning after an "all night" negotiation session at a Manhattan hotel, which follows eight grueling days of horrid details in their high profile divorce.
Christie Brinkley and her estranged hubby Peter Cook have reached a settlement in their divorce case, "The Insider" has confirmed. Christie will get sole custody and Peter will receive parenting time. Christie will also give Peter $2.1 million dollars while she gets to keep all properties. In a statement to "The Insider" her attorney Robert Stephan Cohen says, "After five days of trial and for the sake of their children, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook have reached an agreement. Ms. Brinkley received sole custody and decision making for the children. Peter Cook was granted parenting time and a financial settlement of $2.1 million. Ms. Brinkley will continue to individually own all of her real estate properties." "The Insider" was there as the estranged pair entered the courthouse this morning, where the former model said she was "very pleased" with the settlement, adding that she "had been up all night" and didn't sleep "a wink." Meanwhile, Peter told the press, "I didn't think we'd be here today." Soon after exiting the courtroom, Christie talked to the press, saying, "I was here fighting for custody and I think a mother's greatest fear is someone trying to take her children, trying to get custody of her children, and that's what I was up against. [The settlement] is all I could every want." Meanwhile, all Peter said while leaving was that he was "relieved." The attorney for Peter's former mistress, Diana Bianchi, has given "The Insider" an exclusive statement saying, "the settlement should put an end to this chapter in all of their lives and Diana is looking forward to moving on and putting this all behind her. This has been a media frenzy and put her in the spotlight and she is looking forward to regaining her private life again. She is all grown up and becoming a woman and looks forward to embracing her future."

A source tells the New York Post that, after another day of battling in divorce court, Christie Brinkley made a peace offering to Peter Cook in the form of a call to his cell phone. The 54-year-old beauty reportedly offered to stop challenging Cook's present visitation schedule with their children -- Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10. But Cook, dissatisfied with the current arrangement, turned her down, says the Post's source. "Marriage is partnership," Cook told a reporter when asked to on Brinkley's four marriages. "If you are not a partner, it will fail." And failed marriages can be costly. The Post's source claims that Cook has paid roughly $1 million in legal fees since splitting with Brinkley in June of '06. Earlier today, the hearing went on an unexpected recess, and Christie told "The Insider" that she was hoping for an end to the case soon.

Peter, on the other hand, told cameras that he wishes he could go back four years and do things differently. Earlier today, the hearing went on an unexpected recess, and Christie told "The Insider" that she was hoping for an end to the case soon. But the ongoing trial did resume, with Christie saying as she made her way to the court room, "I'm afraid we have to go back into court." Her lawyers noted that no settlement deal had been made. Earlier, when asked by our crew if there would be a settlement, she said, "It's what I hope and pray for." Meanwhile, two men, Ty and Steve Dux, who say they are investigators involved in the case, tell us that they "have damaging information" on Peter and that both sides were "trying to come to some kind of agreement" before their testimony. However, they would not elaborate on the nature of the information they have collected. Just yesterday, a court-appointed psychiatrist recommended they both enter therapy. He also said he believes that Christie should get custody of her and Peter's two young children, adding that joint custody is "out of the question" right now, and that it's best for the kids to have one primary residence. Christie, dressed in a light-colored frock and tan sweater, told the press today she was "feeling fine," today, while Peter, who arrived alone, kept quiet. Meanwhile, Dr. Stephen P. Herman, a forensic and clinical child and adult psychiatrist who has seen both Christie and Peter, as well as their kids, took the stand this morning. He testified that Peter's behavior could've been compulsive and that he would allegedly watch pornography every day, but said there was no evidence that he was a pedophile. The doctor also addressed Peter's affair with Diana Bianchi, calling it bad judgment on Peter's part. The doctor also said it would be in Christie's best interest to have a personal psychotherapist and suggested the kids remain in treatment. Cook arrived alone and didn't speak to the press, while Christie was all smiles, even offering kind words to the media. "I hope you all had a happy Fourth of July," she said. "I'm looking forward to my independence day." Supermodel Christie Brinkley just wants to let the other woman in her soon-to-be ex-husband's life that she has forgiven her.

The 54-year-old tells reporters after a grueling tax at the witness stand:
"The Insider" has the latest... Court has just wrapped in day two of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook's divorce trial. Moments after leaving the courthouse, Christie spoke to the press saying she has forgiven Cook's former mistress Diana Bianchi. "After two days of testimony I can't help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know I feel really bad for them," she said.  "I feel bad for her and I forgive her.  Today it was really difficult to relive all the horror. I just I feel like it's been a really long day." Meanwhile, Cook did not speak to the media after court. Earlier today, Christie took the stand and became very emotional when testifying about the day she found out about Cook and Bianchi's affair, calling it the day "her world was completely shattered." She said under oath that it was the day she was given an honor at South Hampton High that Bianchi's step-dad approached her and told her about Cook and Bianchi's affair. "I was in complete shock," Christie told the court. "I thought I had the picket fence life." Christie went on to testify how when she and Cook were first married, he was an attentive step-dad to Alexa Ray, her daughter with Billy Joel. But then his attitude changed once their daughter Sailor was born in 1998. She testified he went from being a good guardian to Alexa to her "number one critic," ing on her clothes and becoming discouraging of her piano playing. Christie claimed that at one point Alexa Ray told Cook that she thought he preferred Sailor, to which Peter responded "F*** you!" And when Christie told him to not talk like that, he told her "F*** you too!" On the stand she described in detail seeing the Internet pornography her husband subscribed to. He told her it was the guys in his office who introduced him to it. He also told her he was going through a mid-life crisis and once he called her crying and said he was suicidal and was going to plow his car into a tree. Christie testified he even tried to help him, attempting to find a rehab center for sex addicts. Meanwhile, Christie's good friend Jill Rappaport also took the stand today revealing that she was the one who introduced Christie to Cook. Jill went on to say that she rushed to Christie's side when she found out about the affair. She testified she found Christie lying on the ground almost catatonic and that Christie's knees were covered in blood. She says she thought Christie was dead. Cook also took the stand, where he denied some of the allegations made against him, mainly about Alexa Ray. He also admitted to a cocaine conviction when he was 22.
